Granites in Large Bathrooms
Designed to be a natural escape for the owner, this master bath incorporates mirrors, greenery, and lighting to visually expand the modest space. The room accommodates two lavatories, whirlpool bath, custom shower, toilet, and storage. To achieve the natural look, slate is incorporated throughout. A waterfall-style faucet is located on a slate wall to fill the whirlpool tub. A planting area behind the angled tub brings the outside indoors and continues a tranquil tone. A shot of black polished granite on the countertops and tub deck contrasts with the wood cabinetry and is picked up in the black Juno Trac lighting, which follows the outline of a beam on the peaked, wood-plank ceiling. To keep the area expansive, a frameless glass shower enclosure was specified. A wall of mirrors, accented with decorative sconces from Framburg, contributes to the sense of space.More resources:
