Granites in Small Bathrooms
Capitalizing on a small space, but restricted on relocating any plumbing fixtures, this designer relied on dramatic, natural materials to create a serene room. To give the penthouse condo bath an Old World look, the designer specified Emperador light marble with a broken edge detail for the walls, a device that was also carried out on the shower door. On the floor, randomly sized tumbled Jerusalem stone echoes the carved stone pedestal used to support the vessel-style sink. To continue the minimalist mood, hardware, in a frost finish, was kept to a minimum. The single recessed light casts strong angular shadows from the pedestal and small corner shelf designated for artwork, adding to the mood.More resources:
